The season starts in mid-August and runs through mid-October. Informational flyers were sent home last week with all boys in 6th and 7th grade. Registration forms will be accepted beginning March 1, 2010 and the first 50 registrations make the team. If you know a boy who will be in the 7th or 8th grade next school year who might be interested contact your pastor, principal or Bob Postl (920-475-7078 or bob.postl@labarge.com) for more details.

Students will see what a day in the life of a typical LPS student is like. The continuing mission and purpose of Luther Preparatory School is to prepare and encourage young men and women for the full time ministry in the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. To learn more about this school visit www.lps.wels.net. Students will also be visiting the Milwaukee Public Museum’s “Dead Sea Scrolls” exhibit and touring the Berres Brothers Coffee production and retail facility.
5-6 Grade Math Bowl: The 5-6 grade Math Bowl is coming up on Thursday, March 18 at Fox Valley Lutheran High School. The teams have been chosen. Final registration for the meet will begin at 5:30 p.m. Please make sure your child is at FVL by 5:45 p.m. If you have problems arranging a ride or have any questions about the Math Bowl, please contact Mr. Knickelbein. The meet begins at 6:00 p.m. We should be finished by 8:30 p.m. unless unforeseen problems arise.
Scholastic Book Fair: Our school has been invited to host a Scholastic Book Fair. This is a great way to promote reading and an appreciation of books. Scholastic will provide all of the materials for the fair. All that is needed is a coordinator/someone to head it up. We have one volunteer, so far, willing to help with this. If you would like to lend a hand, please see Mr. Lemke or stop in at the school office. Thanks!
SCRIP: Anyone desiring to place a “special order” with the scrip program is asked to do so before April 1.
